Water Analysis
All samples are tested in our UKAS accredited laboratory using UKAS accredited test methods.
Sampling is carried out by our competent Account Managers, in accordance with BS 7592:2008 Sampling for Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems, ACoP L8 & HSG 274 Parts 1 & 2, for the following purposes:
- To determine the quality of the water
- To provide information to allow trend data to be compiled in order to better understand the systems and take appropriate action to minimise the potential for bacterial contamination and proliferation
- To determine the presence of Legionella bacteria in the water systems
- To determine the presence, count and trend of general microbiology in the water systems
- To determine the presence of Coliforms and E.Coli in the water systems
- To determine the efficacy of remedial actions taken or auditing control measures
- To validate disinfection regimes
